# Legacy Flight Academy

> Legacy Flight Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit running character-based youth aviation programs that preserve and advance the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen through mentorship, flight experiences, STEM education, and aerospace career pathways. Mission framing: "Know, Live, and Grow the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen."

## About

Legacy Flight Academy (LFA) introduces young people — especially those underrepresented in aviation and aerospace — to flight, mentorship, and STEM career pathways. Programs are rooted in the history and character of the Tuskegee Airmen.

## Programs

- **P.A.R. Motivations**: A single-day public engagement program promoting Passion, Attitude, and Responsibility; builds STEM awareness and identifies future aviators.
- **Double Victory Flight Program**: A two-week intensive flight and character training experience for ages 16–19, held at historic Moton Field in Tuskegee, Alabama, with the opportunity to solo an aircraft.
- **Eyes Above the Horizon (EAH)**: A full-day outreach and mentorship program with an orientation flight, offered at zero cost to student participants.
- **Tuskegee 99**: Historical education focused on the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.
