About the event
On Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, at Columbus-Lowndes county Airport, Legacy Flight Academy™ (LFA) will host Eyes Above the Horizon™, LFA's unique 1-day outreach, flight introduction program, for students ages 10-19. Check-in is from 8:00AM to 8:45AM. Students MUST be pre-registered and show up within the designated check-in window to be guaranteed admittance to the program.* Formal program activities will occur from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.
Eyes Above the Horizon™ is an outreach and flight orientation program designed to inspire youth to reach beyond their familiar circumstances and to consider pursuing careers in Aviation and STEM. In furtherance of this objective--and to remove financial barriers--LFA and its partners cover the $250 cost for individual student participation. Registration on Eventbrite and parental permission is all that is required in order to participate in Eyes Above the Horizon™!
