About the event
On the 99th day of each year LFA kicks of its annual Tuskegee 99 fundraising campaign. This charitable campaign pays homage to the 99th Pursuit Squadron (later the 99th Fighter Squadron) the first African American flying squadron. The funds raised during this campaign help to support LFA's efforts to conduct youth character-based aviation and STEM prgrams that draw upon the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.
